In 2018 we are piloting a programme in where we give our former trainees as well as children and young people aged 11-15 the opportunity to further develop their sailing skills by undertaking a short period Sail Training course. We particularly welcome applications from young people from a migrant/refugee background
We will start this programme by releasing a call of interest in where we will be able to establish demand and location of the trainees who wish to take part in it.
We will then coordinate with sail training schools across Ireland in order to allocate bursaries for our trainees to support them by covering fees for the course + transportation costs.
The pilot is expected to take place during Summer 2018.
